When you wake up in the middle of the afternoon due to working nights and having some hard labor hobbies in the morning, days like this need a bit of a wrapup.

In that light, here's what I experienced so far today:

Grampa suspends his campaign two days earlier in the week than usual because he's gotta get to DC - No time to talk or even try to do two things at once

Barack's ready for anything, still playing it as cool as he should be

Gotta pass the $700B bill - NOW!!!!, insists W, and in his waning days he almost puts together a coherent thought.  He leaves the "house of cards" analogy behind and moves on to DOMINO THEORY!!!  (That's always worked out for us oh-so-well...)

As it stands, the bill could pass fairly quickly...and that there is some form of thought process going into it.  (Update/Clarification: There have been extensive negotiations underway and bipartisan support for trashing the original Treasury plan, so it's not what you've been hearing about for a week, I think...)
